Having been in business for over 100 years, Hanson-Runsvold has helped generations of families by giving them peace of mind. In addition to supporting local families in a significant way, the team at Hanson-Runsvold is also heavily involved in the community. Cydney Runsvold serves as a Lifetime Trustee on the NDSU Foundation and supports youth and women’s education. Alex Rydell serves on the boards of Hope Blooms, Soul Solutions Recovery Center and the FM Area Youth Symphony. John Runsvold has served as Southeast District Governor, past President of the North Dakota Funeral Directors Association, a board member and President of the North Dakota State Board of Funeral Services, President of the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Board and also served President of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
