About Eventide Senior Living Communities

For more than seven decades, Eventide Senior Living Communities has offered exceptional services to empower older adults to thrive. Eventide was founded in 1951 and is a faith-based, non-profit senior healthcare system headquartered in Moorhead, MN. The organization also has locations in Fargo, West Fargo, Jamestown, and Devils Lake, ND. With about 1,100 full and part- time employees, Eventide serves over 1,200 residents daily at its six locations. Eventide provides a full range of lifestyle and service options, including independent and assisted apartment living, memory care, skilled nursing care and rehabilitation/transitional care.

What are you working on next for your culture?

Workplace culture is something that we feel is very important at Eventide. All of our employees work really hard to provide the best care and experience for our residents and families and it is vital that employees feel appreciated for their hard work. We focus on the relationships that each employee has with their direct supervisor through monthly one on ones, check-ins and manager rounding. We also conduct an annual engagement survey and pulse surveys throughout the year to gather information on employee engagement and areas that we as a company can improve on.

What are some unique benefits you offer?

Aside from the “normal” benefits most companies offer (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.), we recently started offering the employees the option of “Pay on Demand.” This allows employees to deduct money already earned prior to payday!

What are you looking for in employees?

We really look for people who embody our ICARE values which are the foundation
of who we are. Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. Many of our positions we can train people how to do the task but it’s hard to teach someone to care. We look for people who have a passion to provide great care and customer service.
