Behind The Build

U.S. Space Force Tanks Cavalier, ND

When the U.S. Space Force needed a reliable partner to secure essential fuel needs for the Cavalier Space Force Station’s emergency power plant, they turned to TrueNorth Steel.

With decades of experience and a track record of getting the job done right, our team will design, fabricate and deliver eight 50,000-gallon underground tanks. The 60-foot Plasteel® Elutron® tanks were manufactured in our West Fargo, ND facility, meeting the highest standards for durability and safety.

This project highlights the importance of dependable fuel solutions for critical infrastructure, whether supporting national defense, public safety, or major utilities. For TrueNorth Steel, it’s also a point of pride to deliver a project of this scale, right in our own backyard.

The eight Space Force tanks were manufactured in West Fargo. The tanks are TrueNorth Steel's largest to-date at 60-feet long and able to hold 50,000 gallons.

The strength of this project reflects the experience and dedication of our team. Quality and reliability begin on the shop floor, and our entire team takes pride in building lasting solutions."
