About CCRI

CCRI began with a group of parents who wanted more for their children than institutionalized care. They wanted community-based care and they made it happen, opening their first home in 1977 in Hawley, MN. In 1980, they opened their second home in a field now known as the Village Green area in Moorhead. Today, CCRI supports more than 400 people across six programs in Clay and Wilkin Counties. They provide 24-hour services, in-home support, mental health services, supportive housing services and more.
