On a crisp fall evening in Fargo, hundreds gather in a room alive with anticipation. The BIO Girls Gala has become a fixture on the community calendar, a night that raises critical funds, yes, but even more, it celebrates resilience, confidence, and the belief that every girl deserves to know her worth. BIO Girls’ mission is simple and urgent: improve the mental health of adolescent girls through empowerment of self and connection with others.
That purpose animates every story told from the stage, every video, and every quiet moment when a guest realizes they are part of something bigger than themselves.
It wasn’t always this polished or powerful. The first gala in 2019, BIO Girls shouldered production themselves. The heart was unmistakable; the vision was clear. But the staging, show flow, and technical storytelling hadn’t yet caught up to the scale of their ambition. To serve more girls and to invite more people into the mission, the gala needed a platform that could match the organization’s spirit.
Enter a partnership. In early 2020, BIO Girls asked for help bringing their story to life, and Mobile Pro said yes, not as a vendor but as collaborators who would treat the gala as if it were their own.
Then the world changed. As an inperson celebration suddenly became impossible, BIO Girls faced a choice: cancel a vital fundraiser or leap into a first-ever virtual gala. They chose courage. With Mobile Pro’s support, the team pivoted quickly, carrying the mission into living rooms across the region. What might have been a lost year became a breakthrough, a proof point that creativity and calm under pressure could turn uncertainty into impact.
