As local communities increasingly rely on delivery services, Starion Bank is stepping up to support the essential workers who keep things moving. With a new partnership with DoorDash, Starion Bank is expanding its reach to bring financial services directly to Dashers—independent contractors who deliver meals, groceries, and more through the DoorDash platform.
Through this partnership, Starion Bank serves as the sponsor bank for DoorDash’s newly announced Crimson Program, enabling Dashers to access deposit accounts and debit card services within the DoorDash app. Whether in urban hubs or rural towns, Dashers now have an innovative financial partner to help manage their earnings–a partner rooted right here in North Dakota.

From Local Roots to National Impact
Founded in 1969, Starion Bank has deep roots in North Dakota and Wisconsin, where it began as a community bank focused on personal service and community involvement. Over the years, Starion has built on that legacy, blending tradition with innovation to meet the changing needs of its customers. The DoorDash partnership demonstrates the bank’s commitment to reaching beyond its local branches to make an impact across the country.
“This collaboration with DoorDash shows how our community-focused bank can scale up to serve national platforms,” said Rick Geloff, Starion Bank’s CFO/COO. “We’re thrilled to extend our trusted services to Dashers across the U.S., who are such a critical part of today’s economy.”
